Today at the event in San Francisco, HP announced the Pre 3, the successor to Palm Pre 2. This device sports a 3.6-inch capacitive touch screen with 480x800 resolution. The phone comes with a 5MP back camera with auto focus, a 1.3 megapixel front camera for video calling and supports HD video recording @ 720p. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor, 8/16 gb internal memory and 512 mb of Ram. Other features include support for WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi hotspot capabilities, and a slide - out QWERTY keyboard.
QuickOffice Connect Mobile Suite comes pre-loaded on the phone. Other business features include, data encryption, password protection and vpn support. The device supports both HSPA+ and CDMA networks and will go on sale in summer 2011 in the United States.
Another cool thing about this device is, it supports Touchstone technology. You will be able to charge the device wirelessly by just leaving your phone on the Touchstone dock. The accessory needs to be purchased separately however.
