I must say, this update from Twitter is a welcomed one. They have streamlined the application and made it user friendly, the user interface looks sleek and neat. Things are much easier to find. The official change log for Twitter 2.0:
-
Newly re-designed UI
-
speed and performance improvements
-
several bug fixes.

As you sign in, you can see your time line straight away. At the top there is a new horizontal navigation with icons, which allows you to easily access your @mentions, messages, and lists. The search function is changed slightly. Twitter calls it the "Universal Search". Typing in a keyword now gives you three to four options like search keyword, search keyword nearby, search keyword in people, @keyword (if an account exist). This makes search very easy as compared to the previous version of the app.
Personally i am still using TweetDeck as my main Twitter client, as it allows me to access multiple twitter accounts and sync my data with TweetDeck on the desktop pc. So unless you are using Twitter for both business and personal, I suggest you head over to the market and get this update.
