by gseth on 23rd February, 2011 in Nokia, MeeGo

Nokia's CTO, Rich Green, in a keynote (MWC 2011, Barcelona), confirmed that Nokia is committed to ship a Meego device this year. The model N950 would basically be a successor to the N900, although it is not confirmed that the retail version would be named N950.

Green says the team is very dedicated and would not be slow down on the development. They have invested in Meego and are committed to launch atleast 1 device this year. What happens to the source code after the device is launched is yet to be determined by Nokia.
