My retail sources have confirmed that the new Galaxy Tab would hit the Indian Market in two weeks time. Not much details about the pricing was given, but I was told a rough Rs. 30k figure. I personally believe the tablet would be around Rs. 35K approximately, keeping in mind that the original tablet was released for Rs.38k.
For those who are interested in getting this Honeycomb 3.0 tablet from Samsung, I suggest you contact your retailers for a pre-booking. I would be getting the new tablet from Croma Mumbai, on launch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a successor to the original Galaxy Tab which sold over 2 million units world wide. The new Galaxy Tab 10.1, has as the name says, a 10.1 inch screen, built on Stock Android 3.0 Honeycomb, powered by dual core nVidia Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of ram and a 8mp rear camera capable of full hd video recording @ 1080p.
Also if you are looking to buy the original Galaxy Tab, I suggest you wait till the new one launches as the prices of the original Tab would slash further.
